bequests

Making a bequest in a will or revocable living trust to Wild Iris is a simple way to donate and means you’ll be making a difference in our communities in years to come. Your gift will help secure the future for Wild Iris and its efforts on behalf of victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and child abuse.

Since Wild Iris is a 501(c)(3) corporation, a bequest could also help to reduce inheritance taxes. It often makes good financial sense to donate highly taxable assets, such as certain retirement plans, to charity, while leaving other assets to loved ones. Any percentage, part or component of estate or trust assets can be left to Wild Iris, and we are very grateful for your gift, in any amount. Thank you for considering making a charitable gift to Wild Iris in your estate planning. Be sure to meet with your attorney to discuss and update your will.
