Safe Communities, Safe Children

WILD IRIS HOSTS FORUM TO EXPLORE DIFFICULT ISSUE OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE

No one wants to think about it. We make sure our children are in car seats and seat belts. We walk them across busy streets. We ask our teens where they are going and who they will be with. All to keep them safe. And yet, when it comes to the crime of child sexual abuse, shame, fear, and denial keeps adults—and communities—silent.

On Friday, April 13 from 6-9pm at Cerro Coso College in Mammoth Lakes, help end the silence at a Safe Communities, Safe Children Town Hall Forum. More info

Friday evening’s event will be followed by a more in-depth training on Saturday, April 14th that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. More info.
