3. Consider going to a medical facility as soon as possible. You may need treatment for external or internal injuries, testing for pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases. 5. Consider setting an appointment with a therapist for the extra support.
6. Consinder getting a restraining order against the person who assaulted you to help prevent further violence.
7. Allow some time to heal. Taking care of yourself is very important right now. Try to do the things you love, treat yourself with kindness, take a walk, write in your journal, surround yourself with people you love.....keep taking steps forward.
8. If you continually feel frightened or depressed, it is vital that you speak to a counselor.
